Tealeaf Fortune-Telling

Anyone can practice the art of Tealeaf Fortune-telling.
You must be receptive and imaginative to see what is there.

You need a wide shallow cup with no inside pattern, and preferably white or light coloured.

If you don't have leaf tea, you can cut a teabag and use that - it will give you the same results.

The person having their leaves read, must leave about a teaspoon of tea at the bottom of the cup.

The tea drinker should then hold the cup in their left hand and swing it gently three times and then turn it upside.

After a few seconds, turn the cup anti-clockwise, using the left hand.
You can then pick up the cup and look to see how the leaves have arranged themselves.
Use your imagination and what patterns or shapes have are visible.

The cup is split in to sections -

The handle is the inquirers home or person.

The bottom of the cup is past or ill fortune.
